My new cake website became reality as I absolutely adore cake and anything to do with baking.

Although it is in its infancy just now it is wholly dedicated to the memory of my dear Mum Barbara who late last year died of Ovarian Cancer after a courageous battle against this disease.  Mum loved to bake and if she wasn't baking during my childhood she would be helping my Dad in the garden looking after the plants and flowers or lending a hand painting and decorating when my Dad finished his shifts as a policeman.  My sister and I have picked up an awful lots of skills, hints and knowledge from our paternal grandma Hannah who also came from a family of bakers.  I hope to be able to reach as wide an audience as possible and continue the traditional methods of baking for as long as is humanely possible.
